Sri Kanaka Mahalakshmi Temple is one of the most popular Hindu temples in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The temple is dedicated to the Goddess Sri Kanaka Mahalakshmi, who is believed to be an incarnation of Goddess Lakshmi. The goddess appeared in the dreams of some devotees and instructed them to install her idol without a roof. The current temple was built in 1912 by the king, following the divine instructions of the goddess.
