Tribal Museum

This voyage will take you back in time with your visit to the “Tribal Museum” a key attraction of Araku. Be amazed by the rich collection of artefacts that includes made of clay life-size portraits of tribal people, hunting tools and kitchen utensils. A section that displays the attire of tribal people belonging to the northern part of this region and the traditional handicrafts.


Set within a red brick building made of mud, this museum portrays village panchayat, market and agricultural activities. Noteworthy displays are the tribal jewellery, musical instruments, and masks used by them then. It also accommodates a Tribal Arts and Crafts Centre that features several exhibitions and workshops for the promotion of tribal art and handicraft.
